Welcome to Huxford Elementary School 's Website! On behalf of the faculty, staff and myself, we thank you for visiting Huxford Elementary Online. Huxford Elementary School is located 16 miles north of Atmore off highway 21 on Huxford Road .

We are a rural school serving grades K - 6 with a student population of 287 which includes a large number of Native American students as we serve the Poarch Creek Reservation.

The faculty consist of 14 classroom teachers, 1 reading specialist, 1 physical education teacher, 1 special education teacher, 1 counselor, 1 librarian, 1 part time speech teacher and a nurse one day per week. Our support personnel include: 3 Title I aides, 1 Indian Education aide, 3 lunchroom workers, 5 bus drivers and 1 full-time custodian and 1 part time custodian. We also have a number of parent and community volunteers.
