Turtle Point Birthday Bash & Butterfly House Grand Opening October 31, 2009 from 9 am until 3 pm Join the Staff and Volunteers of Turtle Point for a fun-filled day celebrating Turtle Point's 10 Years of service to our community. Activities will include Butterfly House Grand Opening, Tile Paintint Project, arts and crafts, and special presentations. Presenters will include Steve Trash, Reno's Reptiles, and Vicky Smith's Bats. Click Here for a Schedule of Events Tile Painting Project Ten years ago, students purchased and painted tiles as a fund-raiser to help pay forthe Touch Tank in the Interpretive Lab. Those tiles are on display for all visitors to see. As part of the tenth anniversary celebration, we are offering this activity again. For $25 per tile, you and your family can create artwork that will be on permanent display at Turtle Point. Tiles will be painted at Turtle Point on October 31st. Saturday Open House Please join us for a day filled with animals, crafts, and wonderful shopping! Turtle Point will be open to the public from 10 am until 2 pm on the following Saturdays throughout the school year. December 12, 2009 January 23, 2010 March 6, 2010 April 24, 2010 May 22, 2010 Spring Break Turtle Point will be open to the public during the week of Spring Break April 12 - 16, 2010
