Course  Description:

Agri-science – 9th Grade

A course which offers units of instruction and/or hands-on activities in the areas of careers, safety, technological advancements, employability skills, SAEP, agricultural issues, environmental science, environmental issues, biotechnology, leadership development, entrepreneurship, plant and/or soil science, computer applications, animal science, conservation and natural resources, and agricultural mechanics: woodworking and electricity.

 

Agri-technology – 10th Grade

A course which offers units of instruction and/or hands-on activities in the areas of careers, safety, technological advancements, employability skills, SAEP, agricultural issues, international trade/global marketing, environmental issues, leadership development, forestry, soils, agricultural sales, computer applications, aquaculture, horticulture, and agricultural mechanics: metal fabrication, plumbing, and power mechanics (small engines).

 

Agricultural Structures Technology I & II –11th & 12th Grade

A specialized semester course which offers units of instruction and/or hands-on activities in the areas of careers, safety, technological advancements, employability skills, SAEP, computer applications, agricultural issues, leadership development, agricultural enclosures, electrical systems, concrete, and water systems.
