Text Box: 	Seniors who have not passed all parts of the Alabama High School Graduation Exam will be able to take the test December 4-8 during regular school hours .
	Parents should encourage students to study for this exam.  Also, parents should ensure that students get enough rest during this week.  It is crucial that all Text Box: students pass the graduation exam in order to graduate on time.  Parents can call Mrs. Gwynne Shell if you have any questions or concerns about your student.

Text Box:   	It’s that time of the year again– flu season.  Our students need to take precautionary measures to reduce their chances of getting the flu.  Here are some helpful tips:
Get a flu vaccination
Stay away from others who may have the flu

	Involving your teens in helping others teaches them about servitude, charity, and
kindness.  In addition, it also Text Box: establishes a sense of community and leadership in young lives.   What may seem like another chore to a teen, may benefit them well beyond the present moment and it will certainly benefit those who need the help.        
Text Box: 	The holiday season is a perfect time to help others.  In  a small community such as ours, it will be easy to find someone or some family that could benefit from a little extra holiday cheer.
