Congratulations to our January Employees of the Month! 🎉
Jessica Green, Secondary Employee of the Month
English Teacher, Flomaton High School
"Mrs. Green is not only an outstanding teacher, she also organizes and leads the senior class, directs the drama club, and directs our photo days. She works to have a great relationship with her students and fellow teachers. Recently, she has spent countless hours working on the lighting and sound system in our auditorium. She works to advance FHS in academics, in opportunities with scholarships, plays; anything she thinks will benefit the students. She gives of her time and her heart to the students and faculty at Flomaton."
Haley White, Elementary Employee of the Month
Math Coach, Pollard McCall
"Haley strives for excellence in her job working with teachers and students. She helps teachers plan engaging lessons based on standards pulling from multiple resources beyond the curriculum. She goes above and beyond as a math coach planning activities such as dressing up as the Queen of Ten to teach friends of ten. Students ask if and when Ms. White will be visiting our class. Haley embodies the motto Excellence in Escambia in her work ethic, job performance, and daily school activities. She sets the bar high for other math coaches."
Michelle Brantley, District Support
District Nurse
"Nurse Brantley has jumped into leadership as lead nurse for the county. She is always responsive to our needs with a smile and positive attitude. Recently, she became CPR Instructor certified. This is a huge asset to ECRC, as she and other nurses from the county came and taught our Law and Public Safety students CPR. Nurse Brantley is eager to make a positive difference in the lives of our students."
Elizabeth Taylor, Local School Support
Special Education Services, Pollard McCall
"Elizabeth loves our school, students, and employees. You can ask her for anything and she will go out of her way to make sure you have what you need. She doesn't just make our school a safe place for our class, she makes a safe place for everyone in our school - students and staff. She comes in with a smile, always has a listening ear, and lifts you up. She has a heart for all students. She meets students right where they are...she loves them just as they are."
Thank you for all you do!
