Escambia County Schools is excited to announce the award of a $12.5 million grant to construct a new centralized Career Readiness Center, creating expanded opportunities for students throughout Escambia County.
This transformational investment will allow Escambia County Schools and Brewton City Schools to partner in providing high-quality career and technical education opportunities for students from all four area high schools: W.S. Neal High School, Flomaton High School, Escambia County High School, and T.R. Miller High School.
The new Career Readiness Center will ensure that students have access to exceptional workforce training programs, industry certifications, and hands-on learning experiences, regardless of where they live.
Expanding Opportunities for Every Student
The Career Readiness Center is designed to provide equitable access to career training opportunities across our region. By bringing students together in a centralized learning environment, the center will offer modern equipment, specialized instructional spaces, and industry-aligned programs that prepare students for success after graduation.

Students attending W.S. Neal High School, Flomaton High School, Escambia County High School, and T.R. Miller High School will have access to a variety of Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, including:
