Welcome from thePrincipal's desk

With great joy and heartfelt anticipation, I welcome everyone to another school year at A.C. Moore Primary School, a place where every child is seen, supported, and celebrated.

We start each year highlighting our school's powerful vision: to provide "a nurturing, inclusive, and innovative learning environment where every child is empowered to reach their fullest potential." This is more than just a statement. It is a promise. This promise exists to ensure that every child who walks through our doors is met with open hearts, high expectations, and the unwavering belief that they can and will succeed.

At A.C. Moore, we focus on creating a safe and nurturing space where students are not only academically challenged but also encouraged to make positive choices, solve problems with confidence, and build strong, respectful relationships with others. It is here that children begin to shape who they will become, and it us our responsibility to guide them with patience, love, and consistency.

Our guiding principle, "Little Steps, Big Dreams," reminds us daily that the smallest acts of learning and kindness can lead to the most extraordinary growth both academically and in character. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn from their mistakes and grow. They do this best when they are surrounded by caring adults who believe in them.

To our incredible faculty and staff, thank you for your tireless dedication, your compassionate hearts, and your commitment to excellence. To our parents and families, thank you for entrusting us with your most precious gift. Your partnership means everything. And, finally, to our students. You are the reason we do what we do. You inspire us every day with your curiosity, resilience, and boundless potential.

Together, we will continue to build a school where dreams take flight one little step at a time.

With gratitude,

Dr. Shawaungela DeLoach, Principal
